Setting up the new temporary CTKF store in DOMUS Building in Stamford CT

New season, new us (but same wonderful mission)! We had quite a busy start to 2025, as we faced an unexpected bump in the road. In early January the Lathon Wider Community Center closed due to flooding in the building, so we were left without a store for shopping!

We cannot thank our amazing volunteers enough for their dedication and efforts toward relocating, all to get ready in time for a spring reopening for our shoppers.

  • CTKF Store moves to temporary new location at the DOMUS building in Stamford
  • Comedy Club “Stand Up For Clothes To Kids” event raised $14,000!
  • CTKF partners with local non-profit Filling in the Blanks to expand our outreach to more families
  • Fred clothing store in Westport donates 10% of sales during event
  • And much more!

Spring 2024 Newsletter

Clothes To Kids of Fairfield County (CTKF) is grateful to have the support of our donors and volunteers as we get ready for a new season! Summer is a favorite time of year for so many children. To be able to provide families with summer clothing for their children that not only keeps them cool on hot days, but is clean and fits them properly, means so much.

Your generous support allows CTKF to distribute shorts, tank tops, t-shirts, dresses, sandals and new bathing suits to children whose families cannot afford to purchase them. CTKF cannot fulfill every child’s clothing needs without your continued help! Season after season, we rely on your support to serve the children in our community. Please consider donating to make a child’s summer a little brighter this year.

Winter 2024 Newsletter | Fall for CTKF this Valentines Day

With Valentine’s Day on February 14th and Random Acts of Kindness Day on February 17th, this is the perfect time to show some love for your Community! With the help of our volunteers and donations from our supporters, Clothes To Kids of Fairfield County (CTKF) is able to operate a boutique clothing store for children financially eligible and/or in crisis, to shop, twice a year, free of charge. If it weren’t for your generosity, CTKF would not be able to touch the lives of so many children and families in need. CTKF is a volunteer-run organization, so every dollar you donate goes to benefit the children we serve.

Please spread kindness and your support this month, and share this message with friends, co-workers and family. The greater our reach, the greater our impact. Every bit of kindness counts. There is no gift sweeter than changing a child’s life!
