Hello! On Sunday, May 4, 2025 I’ll be riding in support of Clothes To Kids of Fairfield County as a member of Team CTKF in the 2025 TD Five Boro Bike Tour, the largest charitable bike ride in the United States. I’ll join cyclists from around the world to ride 40 miles through the five boroughs of New York City, as we raise money for kids in need of quality school clothing in Fairfield County, Connecticut.

Why I’m riding for Clothes To Kids
I am riding for CTKF because I believe owning adequate and quality clothing should be a human right no matter what your economic status is. Children should be able to be children and focus on going to school and enjoying the world without having to worry what their clothes look like. Families shouldn’t have to decide whether to buy their children clothing or pay for basic living necessities such as housing, food, transportation, healthcare, etc.
The reality is that many families in Fairfield County live with these struggles due to how expensive it has become to live in the area. Due to having a number of wealthy towns in the county, places like Norwalk (ALICE population of 45%), Stamford (ALICE population of 45%), Bridgeport (ALICE population of 66%) get overlooked by the general public. CTKF’s mission aims to fight this issue of children having their own clothing. I know all of the money raised will go to a great cause, and together we will be able to put smiles on the faces on many children.
Clothe a child, change a life
When a family is struggling to provide basic necessities the children may be worried, even panicked, about going to school. If they don’t have clothes that fit, or worse, they don’t have clothes that make them feel like they fit in.
Your donation will provide new and gently used school clothing, warm coats, and shoes for children in need, free of charge. Clothes To Kids provides two wardrobes per year for each eligible child in grades K-12.
