Donate Clothing

Clothes To Kids gladly accepts quality new and gently used clothing and shoes that are appropriate for kids grades K-12 to wear to school. Each eligible child can shop twice a year in the CTKF Store for a full week’s wardrobe of school clothing; one wardrobe for fall/winter and one for spring/summer. See what’s in the CTKF Wardrobe!

Please complete the Schedule Your Clothing Donation form, and we will follow up (via text) to schedule an appointment. Clothing donation appointments are Tuesdays, Thursdays, or Saturdays between 10:00 am and 12:00 pm. We are located in the DOMUS Complex and the entrance to the store is through the parking lot at 15 Frank Street, Stamford, CT.

What’s the best way to bag up your donation? Use plastic bags no larger than a typical 13-gallon kitchen garbage bag. Tied closed please and no heavier than 20 pounds. Thanks!

PREFERRED:

  • Seasonally appropriate clothing. This allows us to devote our limited and precious volunteer time to sorting and packing clothing that is needed immediately.
    • We prefer to receive Fall and Winter clothing from August – February.
    • Spring and Summer clothing from February – July.
  • We always appreciate items separated by gender and type, with bags labeled accordingly 🙂
